Established in the year 2002 by Mr. Yoav Geva (Gonczarowski), the YG Acoustics brand is sold in over 25 countries worldwide. All of our speakers are handmade in house at our factory in Denver (Arvada), Colorado.
Since 2004, YG Acoustics has become one of the strongest brands all over the world. YG Acoustics is always expanding it\'s marketing reach on a global basis. The strength of YG Acoustics in Asia and Europe has led to distribution in many other parts of the world as well. In the U.S. there is a strong marketing campaign in major audiophile print publications as well as many web based publications.
YG Acoustics loudspeakers are designed and optimized using proprietary software developed entirely in-house. While it seems obvious to non-industry members that any serious high-tech company should create its own custom tools for critical tasks, in fact nearly all other loudspeaker brands worldwide rely on a single off-the-shelf design suite, in which the core is predominantly over 10 years old. The result, as discerning audiophiles have already noticed, is that all of those loudspeakers suffer from the same problems, and those deficiencies prevent them from sounding even remotely like the real thing. YG Acoustics software is highly advanced and uses technology developed by Mr. Geva from scratch, i.e. it cannot be found in scientific publications. This, combined with cost-no-object construction using aircraft-grade aluminum with no wood-based materials whatsoever, ensures performance unparalleled by the competition. When driven by adequate electronics and correctly set-up, YG Acoustics loudspeakers are completely capable of fooling the human ear into believing that it is listening to live music. YG Acoustics\' major technologies are: DualCoherent crossovers, FocusedElimination damping technology, and many more on the horizon.

So it was with the Anats. ...singers various vocal pitches were cleanly and (heres that word again) vividly displayed across a wide, information-packed soundstage.\" \"...such was the Anats combination of clarity, speed, and agility...\" \"...a high overall level of transparency, and pinpoint imaging within the soundstage.\"
September 2009: In Positive Feedback Online Issue 45 Adam Goldfine reviews the Anat Reference II Studio speakers. He comments:: \"goose bump inducing realism\" and \"sounds seemed to materialize out of thin air to startling effect\". \"Their ability to resolve fine nuances of low level detail and ambience gave them the ability to recreate acoustic space like nothing I\'ve heard and was nothing short of astounding.\" \"Freedom from strain and compression...I found the Anats to be transcendent in this aspect of performance.\" \"More than any speaker I\'ve heard, I felt I could rely on them to tell the truth with no editorializing, almost a Zen sense of bringing nothing to the music.\" \"Am I gushing? Yes. Is there reason to? Yes.\"
October 2009: Issue 196 of The Absolute Sound, Editor Robert Harley gives a sneak peak of our Kipod Studio which is slated for review. \"We\'ve heard the Kipod at several shows and have been greatly impressed by its transient speed, tremendous clarity, and high resolution. Jonathan Valin named the Kipod Studio one of the \"Best of Show\" at the 2008 Rocky Mountain Audio Fest, praising it as \"very open, very dynamic, very lively, with extraordinarily deep, fast, detailed, and well-integrated bass.\"\"
January 2010: Issue 199 of The Absolute Sound, Editor Robert Harley reviews the Kipod Studio. He comments: \"...the kipod was capable of an enourmously appealing and captivating sound. It disapeared in the sense that it was a transparent window on the music, with extremely low coloration.\" \"Transient information had a coherence that was world-class; although highly resolving of dynamic shading, transients never into mere noise. Instead, I heard...transient-rich instruments rendered with a completely natural and organic quality...\" \"...its resolution was musically authentic, not an artifact, which allowed very long listening sessions.\" \"...the Kipod Studio was utterly magical.\"

Vandersteen Audio always has been and always will be a technology company. Vandersteen speakers for decades were built around Richard Vandersteen’s patented reflection-free aerodynamic midrange drivers, which remain paragons of low-distortion musicality. Minimal-baffle cabinets, bi-wiring, resonance-reducing spiked feet, battery-biased crossovers, high-pass-filtered powered subwoofers and powered-bass speakers with built-in room EQ are just some of the innovations that originated with Vandersteen Audio’s speaker products.
Vandersteen Audio’s speaker designs today are built around the most advanced dynamic drivers ever conceived, the patented Perfect-Piston™ drivers featured exclusively in Vandersteen Audio’s Model Seven Mk II and Model 5A Carbon speakers. Richard Vandersteen spent 10 years developing these Perfect Piston drivers, which utilize a totally unique carbon-fiber/balsa wood/carbon-fiber sandwich that provides perfectly pistonic driver performance and accuracy without the sonic colorations inherent in metal drivers.
These innovations illustrate the difference between a speaker company and a true technology company, and begins to describe why listening to Vandersteen Audio’s speakers and electronics is such a transcendent, one-of-a-kind musical experience. The kind of unforgettable experience that stands out in a world of products that are all “good.”
Vandersteen Audio designs and manufactures time- and phase- correct loudspeakers and cutting-edge electronics. All Vandersteen products are proudly designed and manufactured in the USA, in Hanford, CA.
